What counts as kitchen furniture?
Kitchen furniture is what turns a room you cook in into a room people sit in: dining tables and chairs, dining sets, breakfast bar sets, sideboards, display cabinets and wine racks. In most UK homes the kitchen table does more work than any other piece of furniture in the house.
Start with the room rather than the look. Measure the space, decide how many people eat there on a normal weekday, and only then think about finish. Get the size right and a solid pine farmhouse set and a sleek extending oak table will both work; get it wrong and neither will.
Dining sets by kitchen size
The Ludlow 6 Seater Dining Set gives you a 140cm table and six chairs for a family that eats together. The Coxmoor Extending Dining Set is the flexible option, running from 80cm up to 120cm so it stays out of the way midweek and grows at the weekend. For something more contemporary, the Rufford Two-Tone Dining Set brings a two-tone finish with a bit more character.
When space is tight
A folding set is the answer in a galley kitchen. The Santos Butterfly Folding Space Saving Dining Set opens to 115cm for four and folds to just 38.5cm against the wall, with the chairs stowed inside the frame, and comes in grey, navy, white, green or pine. Where even that is too much, the Riley Small Dining Table Set with 2 Chairs is a 71cm two-seater.
Storage and finishes
Oak, pine, white, grey, black and two-tone finishes run through the range, from waxed farmhouse pine to concrete-effect and black. For storage, the Corona 2 Door 2 Drawer Buffet Hutch stands 193cm tall on a 100cm footprint, so it holds a lot without eating floor space. Sideboards and glazed display cabinets do the same job lower down.

Kitchen furniture FAQs
What size dining table do I need for my kitchen?
Measure the room first, then leave roughly 90cm between the table edge and the wall or units so chairs can be pulled out and people can still get past. Work back from that to the table size. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.
Do you have space-saving kitchen furniture for small kitchens?
Yes. Drop-leaf and butterfly folding sets fold down to a fraction of their open width, and several store their chairs inside the frame. There are also compact two-seater sets and breakfast bar sets for kitchens where a full dining table will never fit.
How many chairs will fit around my table?
Allow about 60cm of table edge per person so nobody is knocking elbows. On that basis a 110cm rectangular table seats four comfortably and a 140cm table seats six. Round tables seat one or two fewer than their diameter suggests, because of the legs.
Do I have to assemble kitchen furniture myself?
Most of this range is flat-pack, and each product page says which. If you would rather not build it, tick the box on the product page to add our in-home assembly service from our partner Screwdriver, charged at a flat rate.
How long does delivery take on kitchen furniture?
Order before 12pm and thousands of our in-stock products arrive the next working day, which covers most of the dining sets here. Some ranges run to 7 to 10 working days. The expected date is on every product page, and you can choose your delivery date at checkout.
Can I return kitchen furniture if it does not fit?
Yes. The majority of our products carry a 30-day returns window. Let us know by email within 14 days of delivery, keep the original packaging, and have the item back within 30 days. Measuring before you order saves the trouble.
Can I spread the cost?
Flexible finance and buy now pay later options are available at checkout, subject to status. The plans appear on the product page and at checkout, so you can buy the table and chairs together rather than one at a time.
